Privacy policy
We collect only what we need to make and deliver your order. We never sell your information, and your pet photos are deleted 30 days after your order ships.
Who we are. PawTale Press is operated by Rolling Ryno LLC, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. Contact: hello@pawtalepress.com.
What we collect.
- Order details: your name, email, delivery and billing addresses, phone number if you give one, what you ordered, and the pet's name you want printed.
- Pet photos, if you choose "Your pet, painted".
- Emails you send us.
- Payment details, which are handled by Shopify Payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- Basic browsing information collected by our store platform, Shopify, through cookies, such as pages viewed and items added to your cart.
Why we use it. To make, deliver and support your order; to email you previews, shipping updates and replies; to prevent fraud; and to keep the business records the law requires. We only send marketing emails if you sign up for them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Who helps us. We share information only with the companies that run parts of our service, and only what each one needs:

Your pet photos. Photos you upload are used only to paint your portrait. They are never shown publicly, never used in our marketing, and never used to train AI. Our AI image service is a paid service whose terms don't allow it to use your photos to improve its products; it keeps them for a limited time only to check for misuse of its service. We delete your photos 30 days after your order ships, and our storage deletes any photo automatically 60 days after upload, including photos from orders that were never placed.
How long we keep other information. Order records are kept for 7 years for tax and accounting. Customer emails are kept for 2 years.
Your choices and rights. You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it (except records we must keep by law). Email hello@pawtalepress.com and we'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, including California, Canada and Australia, you may have further rights, and we honor those requests too.
Cookies and "Do Not Track". Our store uses Shopify's cookies to run the cart and checkout and to understand how the store is used. You can manage cookies in your browser and through the "Your Privacy Choices" link at the foot of every page. We don't respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because there is no common standard for them yet.
Where information is processed. Our partners process information in the United States and other countries where they operate, with protections required by law.
Children. Our store is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
